Mitsubishi Power América joined forces with Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country, including Hábitat para la Humanidad Gran Orlando y Condado de Osceola, for its national Impact Day initiative, aimed at building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. On Friday, Oct. 16., 20 Mitsubishi Power employees helped paint and landscape the exterior of a brand-new Habitat home in Orange County.

This was the second time in recent months the two organizations came together to make a difference. In September, 60 Mitsubishi Power team members built and decorated three playhouses that were donated to Habitat homeowner families. The playhouses now provide safe and imaginative spaces for the families’ youngest members to play and grow.

Habitat Orlando & Osceola and Mitsubishi Power have now partnered three years in a row as part of the company’s national Impact Day initiative.

“At Mitsubishi Power, our purpose is to power a reliable energy future, and that purpose is ultimately about improving people’s lives.” said Bill Newsom, President & CEO, Mitsubishi Power Americas. “As the need for affordable housing grows, we continue to build on this partnership with Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County. 2026 marks their 40th anniversary, demonstrating their commitment to the Central Florida community. We are so grateful to have these opportunities to be part of such important work.”
