Builders Blitz
During this annual event, generous local builders donate the time, labor, and materials to build Habitat homes in a matter of weeks that are sold with an affordable mortgage to local families.

We are excited to partner with local builders to build six homes in the Bithlo community in February 2027. Thanks to Park Square Homes and PCL Construction for being the first two to sign on to the project!

How It Works
Real homes. Real change.
Empty lots transform into beautiful homes for local families in need—in just five days.
Habitat Orlando & Osceola will:
- Conduct and document virtual weekly coordination meetings with Habitat and builder staff
- Coordinate permitting process, including provision of architectural plans & site engineering
- Assist builders with collecting subcontractors’ Certificates of Insurance
- Provide construction team support before and throughout the event
- Complete site preparation, including lot clearing, scraping, and home stakeout
- Execute marketing initiatives, including press outreach to local media
- Maintain a daily on-site inspector presence
Builder Partners will:
- Attend weekly virtual coordination meetings
- Commit to the donation of a home build upon agreement, including signing a letter of intent
- Donate all labor, materials, and services required to construct one single-family home within five days, including foundation
- Engage subcontractors to donate necessary services and materials in accordance with Habitat Orlando & Osceola specifications
- Ensure subcontractors meet Habitat insurance requirements and collect their Certificates of Insurance for Habitat to maintain on file
- Deliver a completed single-family home with a one-year warranty
