Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County and ADS Foundation are coming together to help expand access to stable, affordable housing in Orange County as part of Habitat for Humanity’s Let’s Open the Door global awareness campaign and its 50 for 50 House Sponsorship initiative.
ADS Foundation is sponsoring the construction of a Habitat Orlando & Osceola home, helping to strengthen communities and create new opportunities for homeownership. On Oct. 6, 20 ADS Foundation volunteers joined Habitat staff to help raise the walls of that home. When complete, the home will be sold to a local family with an affordable mortgage.
“At Habitat Orlando & Osceola, we know affordable and stable housing is not just about shelter—it’s the foundation for thriving individuals, families, and communities,” said Habitat Orlando & Osceola President & CEO Catherine Steck McManus. “We’re grateful to partner with organizations like ADS Foundation to help us pioneer housing solutions and transform communities here in Central Florida.”

ADS Foundation is a sponsor of Habitat’s Let’s Open the Door campaign, a global effort to raise awareness and inspire action around the need for affordable housing. As part of the campaign, Habitat affiliates will construct or improve 50 homes across the U.S. in celebration of Habitat’s 50th anniversary. ADS Foundation will partner with local Habitat affiliates through the initiative to create meaningful local impact, engaging employees through hands-on build experiences while helping families access stable housing. As Habitat for Humanity celebrates 50 years of building homes, communities, and hope, the 50 for 50 initiative highlights the power of partnerships to expand access to safe, affordable housing.
“We believe strong communities begin with strong foundations, including stable, affordable places to call home,” said Kevin Talley, president, ADS Foundation. “Through our partnership with Habitat Orlando & Osceola, we’re proud to help build a more resilient future for Central Florida families.
Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 65 million people around the world build, improve or finance places to call home. The global housing nonprofit works to ensure that families have access to safe, affordable housing, recognizing that stable housing is foundational to strong communities and improved quality of life.
“Home means having a place where I feel safe, comfortable, and at peace,” said future Habitat homeowner, Rokerria, who joined ADS Foundation on the build site. “It’s more than just a house—it’s a space where I can build my future, create memories, and have stability.”
Thanks to partners like ADS Foundation, Habitat Orlando & Osceola is able to help community members like Rokerria along all stages of their housing journeys. Anyone interested in reaching their housing and financial goals – whether it is homeownership, financial preparedness, or home repairs – is invited to use Habitat Orlando & Osceola’s new Housing Path Finder tool. By answering a few quick questions, the tool will match participants to the Habitat Orlando & Osceola service that will best help them reach their goals.

Thank you, ADS Foundation, for supporting our mission!
