Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County is proud to recognize Wesco for its longstanding partnership and continued dedication to strengthening our community and expanding access to stable, affordable housing.
What began through our relationship with Anixter has grown into a lasting partnership with Wesco, rooted in a shared belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future.
“At Wesco, we believe strong communities start with access to safe, stable housing and the resources families need to thrive,” said Anthony S. Marino, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Wesco. “Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County reflects our commitment to creating opportunity, strengthening neighborhoods, and expanding access to the support families need to maintain safe and affordable homes. We’re proud to invest in programs that help families build a stronger future while also giving our employees the opportunity to make a hands-on difference in the communities where we live and work.”
What makes Wesco’s partnership especially meaningful is the twofold nature of its support. Through its financial contributions, Wesco has helped Habitat expand its impact well beyond new home construction, supporting vital initiatives such as home preservation, disaster preparedness and recovery, and educational programs that equip homeowners and members of the greater community with the knowledge and resources to build more stable futures.
Wesco understands that Habitat Orlando & Osceola’s mission extends well beyond building homes. It is also about helping families maintain and protect the homes they already have, prepare for unexpected challenges, and gain financial knowledge and skills that contribute to long-term housing stability. By supporting these efforts, Wesco is helping address housing needs at multiple levels and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the families and communities we serve.
Equally important is Wesco’s commitment to hands-on service. Over the years, Wesco employees have traded their regular workday responsibilities for hard hats and tools, joining our construction teams on the build site. Their willingness to roll up their sleeves, work alongside fellow volunteers and contribute to the construction of Habitat homes.
We are grateful to the entire Wesco team, for your longstanding generosity, your hands-on commitment and your belief in the power of affordable housing to change lives
We are proud to have Wesco as a partner and look forward to continuing to build stronger communities together.
