During this annual event, generous local builders donate the time, labor, and materials to build Habitat homes in a matter of weeks that are sold with an affordable mortgage to local families.

This year, we partnered with two builders, Walker & Company and Park Square Homes, each built a house in Holden Heights.
Relive This Year’s Groundbreaking
On Jan. 13, we broke ground on our 2026 Builders Blitz homes. The homes will be purchased with affordable mortgages by local families. This year marks Park Square Homes’ 12th Habitat house and Walker & Company’s 6th Habitat house.
Home Celebration
On Feb. 6, we celebrated the completion of Builders Blitz 2026! Our generous partners, Park Square Homes and Walker & Company, cut the ribbon on two Habitat homes that will be purchased by local families with affordable mortgages.

Fallon
Fallon says affordable homeownership is a ‘generational blessing’
Fallon always imagined she and her husband would purchase a house together for their children to call home. But that vision of the future fractured when her husband unexpectedly passed away, leaving her to provide for their two daughters on her own.
“Becoming a single parent was not in the plans, yet it instantly became a reality,” Fallon said. “It has been a journey of growth, resilience, and learning while raising my two beautiful daughters and navigating grief.”
In the wake of immense loss, Fallon said she had to trust God, pick herself up, and keep moving forward for her family. She paid off her debt, worked on her credit score, and changed careers to help save money for her closing costs. She now works as a claims adjuster, helping others navigate their own tough times.
Then the next step in her journey was applying to purchase a home through Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County.
Aysia
Family motivates Aysia’s journey to find stability in homeownership.
Habitat homeowner Aysia’s journey to homeownership was motivated, propelled, and inspired by her family.
She was motivated to pursue homeownership by her children, ages 5 and 6, to provide them with a stable foundation to grow up.
Her father propelled her ability to buy her house by allowing her to live with him to save money and get her finances in order.
And she was inspired by her older siblings, all of whom are also homeowners, to accomplish the same goal she’s watched each of them achieve.
Aysia celebrated reaching that milestone in May, when she closed on the purchase of her brand-new affordable Habitat home with her dad by her side. The home was built by Park Square Homes during Habitat Orlando & Osceola’s annual Builders Blitz 2026.
