Wind Mitigation Inspection

A wind mitigation inspection examines your home’s resistance to wind and hurricane damage and identifies potential issues. After an inspection, you may receive a premium discount on your home insurance. Savings can range from a few hundred dollars to well over $1,000 a year!
4-Point Inspection
A 4-point inspection covers four crucial areas: HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical systems, plumbing, and roofing.
These inspections are required by insurance companies under specific criteria. As homes age, insurance companies require 4-point inspections for new coverage or policy renewal. Beyond the age factor, homes older than three years face an elevated risk of structural and safety issues, which a 4-point inspection can detect.

Applicants must meet our eligibility requirements to participate. Home Requirements
To be eligible, your home:
- must be your primary residence – owner-occupied
- must be in the selected blue area of the map below (click map for larger view)
- must meet wind mitigation inspection and/or 4-point inspection criteria to receive voucher
