Everyone deserves a safe, affordable home – and this World Habitat Day, we want to remind you that everyone can help make this a reality as well.
Your support can be as simple as spreading the word about Habitat Orlando & Osceola to friends or donating $5 a month. The following actions help us strengthen our community by building affordable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods.
1. Join our Carpenter’s Club
When you join the Carpenter’s Club by setting up a monthly donation, you join a group of people committed to making homeownership a reality for families in our community.
Simply visit our donate page to set up your monthly gift. Then, please contact Kathryn Farr at [email protected] to register for a HabiTour and learn more about our organization.
2. Sign up for Target Circle
This new loyalty program gives Target shoppers a number of benefits, including the opportunity to vote for the local nonprofit they want Target to donate toward.
Visit Target.com/Circle to learn more. Habitat Orlando & Osceola will be eligible for votes until Jan. 5.
3. Advocate
Become an advocacy ambassador! By signing up for our advocacy emails, you will be alerted to opportunities to advocate for affordable housing in Central Florida.
Through our Cost of Home campaign, we are partnering with local Habitat organizations, volunteers and community members across the country to find the solutions and help create the policies that will allow 10 million individuals to have access to affordable housing.
Please be a part of that change!
4. Build with us
Volunteers are the heart – and muscle – behind our mission to provide safe, affordable homes to Central Florida residents. Every task you take on at our build sites moves another house closer to being ready for a local family to purchase.
Sign up yourself or a group at HabitatOrlandoOsceola.org/Volunteer.
5. Follow us
We want to make sure our story and those of our future homeowners reach throughout our community – so please share!
