Volunteer
We offer group and individual volunteer opportunities available year-round. Your involvement helps power our mission to create stable, affordable housing in Central Florida.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome your group to join us for a Sponsored Team Build on our construction site, or we can bring the team building opportunity to you. From raising walls and painting to assembling playhouses, there are tasks for everyone.
Corporate Team Build
Join us at one of our build sites!
Sponsoring a Team Build with Habitat Orlando & Osceola does more than guarantee a day of camaraderie and fun. Your contribution helps us supply the materials and workforce necessary to build neighborhoods of affordable homes.
A Habitat home gives people the solid foundation necessary to build better lives, providing a stabilizing force for their families, neighborhoods and larger communities. Your donation will strengthen Central Florida for generations.
Playhouse Build
We’ll bring the build site to you!
Our Playhouse Build Program provides a rewarding group volunteer opportunity to build playhouses that are then donated to local children.
Sponsoring a Playhouse Build is a unique way to engage with your employees, boost morale, and give back to the community. Our Playhouse Build Program can bring the build site to you, allowing for increased flexibility.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
Those looking to volunteer as individuals are invited to join our Crew Leader program. These special volunteers come to the build site regularly to guide less-experienced volunteers. We also have limited opportunities for individuals to join Team Builds.
Volunteer Crew Leaders
These special volunteers come to the build site regularly to guide less experienced volunteers. It’s a modest monthly commitment, and you’ll receive training.
A great Habitat Crew Leader doesn’t have to have professional experience in building or construction, but familiarity with tools and building materials is preferred. You just need a positive, friendly attitude and patience to guide those new to a construction site.
Individual Opportunities
Occasionally throughout the year, we have a need for individual volunteers to fill in on our build site. These volunteers will help with the same tasks our Sponsored Team Build groups would do, such as painting, siding, or landscaping.
These opportunities are limited. If you would like to participate, please click below to join our interest list.
