Volunteers help to drive Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County’s mission, and there are many ways for our volunteers to continue to help even as we navigate through COVID-19 safety precautions.

Currently, we are in search of virtual volunteers for our Homeownership Mentor program. Our Mentors help guide future homeowners to success by advising on the skills necessary to build  good financial health and keeping applicants motivated on their journey to homeownership.

We’re looking for committed individuals to help households become financially prepared to qualify to buy a home. Mentors will help families reduce debt, save money, and improve their credit scores. Previous experience with loan underwriting, financial planning, social work, or mentoring is helpful but not required. Fluency in Spanish or Creole is a plus.

No experience? No worries! Habitat will give you all the tools you need through our Mentor training program and the support of our experienced staff.

You can help change lives by becoming a virtual Volunteer Homeownership Mentor!
