Thanks to a partnership with the City of Kissimmee and Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County, Vivian got a first look at her reconstructed home with family members, city and Habitat staff, and media on July 18.

“In a few months, I’ll have something I can call mine,” says future homeowner Jakenia. “I’ll be one happy person.”
“Habitat works with you,” Patricia said. “They’re hand in hand with you. They’re part of my family now.”
Cameron is proud of having achieved homeownership by herself and for her family. “This is my dream I’m living,” she says. “My American dream.”
