Supporter Spotlight: PCL Construction

This week we want to send a special shoutout to our longtime supporter, PCL Construction. PCL Construction’s Rick Goldman, Senior Vice President for the Florida Buildings Group, shared more about why contractor continues to partner with Habitat Orlando & Osceola.

Habitat for Humanity’s mission to bring people together to build homes, community, and hope closely aligns with those values. Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County, we are helping build more than homes. We are supporting stability, opportunity, and a stronger future for families and the communities they call home.

Together, we are focused on creating impact that extends beyond a single project and contributes to meaningful, long term change.

We’ve love hosting volunteers from our corporate community. What benefits do you hope your team will experience working on a Habitat home?  

This experience gives our team a renewed sense of purpose and perspective. Participating in a home build allows our employees to step out of the office or off the jobsite, come together in a meaningful, hands-on way, and give back to those who need it most.

It also gives our team the opportunity to see firsthand how their time, skills, and commitment help strengthen communities and create lasting change for families.

What would you say to other organizations that are considering donating, volunteering, or partnering with Habitat Orlando & Osceola?  

Partnering with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County has been an important part of what we do. We’re extremely proud of our more than 20-year relationship with Habitat and believe partnerships like this make a meaningful difference.
